Amy Storlie is the Founder and Creative Director of Storlie Design & Staging, a boutique home staging company serving the South Bay and greater Bay Area. Known for her quality-driven approach, Amy curates each project with intention, ensuring every home tells a compelling story that resonates with today’s buyers.

With experience spanning both design and real estate strategy, she specializes in vacant and luxury home staging and has earned national recognition for her results, including placement in RESA’s Sold Over List Price Club and recognition among RESA’s Most Influential People in Home Staging.

Beyond design, Amy is deeply committed to building sustainable business structure. She believes strong systems are just as important as beautiful styling and that operational clarity is what allows boutique staging companies to grow with consistency and confidence.

Sarah comes from a background in systems and operations in corporate America. When she came on, she quickly saw that Storlie Design already had great systems in place, they just weren’t consistently implemented. She stepped in to build out the structure behind the scenes and turn the “Storlie way” into a repeatable, streamlined process.

Systemizing Your Staging Business: The Foundational Systems We Wish We Built Sooner

Many staging businesses grow quickly but struggle behind the scenes because their systems never caught up with their workload. In this session, Amy Storlie and Sarah Bowman share the foundational staging business systems they wish they had implemented earlier and how those changes transformed their daily operations.

Designed specifically for boutique staging companies, this RESACON session will walk attendees through the practical systems that reduced chaos and improved consistency for Storlie Design and Staging.

Attendees will learn how structured intake processes prevent install-day surprises, how simple SOPs create predictable workflows, and how centralized inventory and project tracking improves visibility across the business.
